John’s first column of 2016 has landed! With advice about what to do at this time of year, what to grow (old and new), buying seeds, and chitting potatoes. John is also looking for volunteers interested in participating in a compost experiment, for which he’ll provide equipment and ongoing support.

Saturday 14th November – Willow Workshop at the Holburn Museum for the Lantern Procession – all help needed!
On November 14th we are creating our own giant Alice Park Garden Lantern as part of the annual lantern procession through Bath on November 19th. It will be a drop in session from 10am-4pm, so let us know if you’d like to take part and we’ll send the details. Contact us here if you’d like to come along!

Our fundraiser in support of Refugees is taking place at the community garden this Sunday (4th October) from 11am until 2pm. If you are able to pop down on the day to show your support please do – we will be selling cakes, soup, garden produce, and will be holding a raffle.
All proceeds are going to the Doctors of the World Calais appeal – more info here
